Production Technician

This role supports a regulated manufacturing operation focused on producing complex pharmaceutical products used in therapeutic applications. The Production Technician is responsible for executing batch manufacturing activities in compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality systems. This position plays a hands-on role in ensuring safe, consistent, and compliant production while supporting continuous improvement, operational reliability, and a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities
  • Execute pharmaceutical manufacturing activities in accordance with approved batch records, work instructions, and cGMP requirements.
  • Operate and monitor production equipment, adjusting temperature, pressure, flow, and reaction parameters as required.
  • Accurately complete production documentation in line with FDA and regulatory expectations.
  • Perform routine processing tasks including batch processing, unit operations, and milling activities.
  • Troubleshoot routine process and equipment issues to maintain production flow.
  • Support more advanced batch operations and specialized unit processes as trained.
  • Verify equipment readiness, ensure proper status labeling, and report mechanical concerns.
  • Perform basic mechanical tasks to keep equipment operational and minimize downtime.
  • Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate PPE, and actively participate in safety programs and hazard analyses.
  • Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards suitable for a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Ensure compliant handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of waste materials in coordination with EHS teams.
  • Support controlled substance handling requirements and security protocols.
  • Participate in emergency response activities and required training.
  • Cooperate with investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Promote a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment.
Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • Must be available to work Rotating Shifts; 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am, including working every other weekend
  • 3 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical or API manufacturing,
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, and regulated manufacturing practices.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
