Urgently Hiring Material Handlers
Pay: $21, plus a $1 once promoted to production operator. Plus bonuses based on production and attendance.
Location:
Rockaway, NJ
Shifts:
8am – 8pm, Thursday to Saturday, and every other Wednesday. Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm, OT will be needed on an as-needed basis – may need to stay until 8 pm if needed.
The Material Handler is responsible for coordinating all activities on the conveyor by organizing work orders at the load and unload stations. This role involves loading and unloading products, completing required paperwork, and assisting in the safe operation of the system.
Responsibilities
- Operate the plant in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
- Prepare dosimeters for scheduled work orders.
- Operate and take readings on the dosimeter reader.
- Assemble processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders, and load/unload sheets.
- Maintain accurate downtime and system configuration log.
- Record input, dosimeter, and unload information in the computer.
- Perform emergency procedures as required by license.
- Report system problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Technician.
- Replace designated mechanical components and assist Maintenance as required.
- Oversee the work of others.
- Load large boxes containing spices and medical supplies into a conveyor system.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockaway, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
