Location: Dunellen

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production. This role oversees shift-based operations, directs production teams, supports quality and safety standards, and partners with cross-functional teams to meet production goals. This position offers hands‑on leadership responsibility, exposure to continuous improvement initiatives, and the opportunity to directly impact operational performance.

Available Shifts RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee all production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operating standards
  • Lead, coach, and support production personnel including operators, utility staff, and material handlers
  • Assist with staffing needs including scheduling, onboarding, and training of production team members
  • Monitor production flow, material usage, and equipment performance to support efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Enforce GMP, safety programs, and standard operating procedures
  • Partner with maintenance to address equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities
  • Complete and maintain required production, quality, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate with quality and shipping teams to ensure finished products meet specifications and delivery timelines
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support operational goals
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment required
  • Working knowledge of production line operations and equipment
  • Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred
  • Experience in plastics, packaging, or food manufacturing environments a plus
  • Familiarity with quality systems and manufacturing standards preferred
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and perform physical job duties including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
