Taping Machine Operator (GE) 2nd shift

TE Wire and Cable, located in Saddle Brook NJ, is looking for a Taping Machine Operator to join our growing team! More specifically the Taping Machine Operator:

Sets up reels of wire into the payoff stands and empties reel into the takeup

Laces wire through the machine-oven-capstan spark tester and onto the takeup reel.

Loads tapes onto the taping heads and drains wire when applicable per job requirement.

Sets oven controllers if applpicaple to the required temperatures per specification.

Starts machine and checks tape lay. Sets spark tester at specification voltage. Runs to required footage.

Maintains quality satandards and runs machines at specification speeds.

Make all necessary repairs to any faults or damaged material per specifications.

Requirements:

Adhere to safety standards

Basic math skills of addition and subtraction

No attendance issues

Reliable transportation to work Ability to pass post-offer company paid physical/drug screen and background check

Available shift:3rd shift 11:30PM- 8:00

AMSome Manufacturing / Production experience needed, will train the right candidate!

Qualifications:

We require 1-2 years of experience. Operators need to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
