About the Role
We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery
- Packing to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 2, Bakery-Packing, you will be accountable for supporting daily packaging operations and ensuring products are packed accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, food safety compliance, and smooth production flow while contributing to operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)
- Perform packaging, labeling, palletizing, and related production activities to meet daily production requirements.
- Operate packaging equipment and assist with routine adjustments and product changeovers.
- Verify product quality, packaging accuracy, coding, and labeling requirements to ensure compliance.
- Conduct required food safety and quality checks, including metal detector verification and temperature monitoring.
- Complete production documentation, logs, reports, and system entries accurately and on time.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of packaging materials and support product movement using material handling equipment as authorized.
- Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, production, or packaging experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn company systems and complete required documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
