Production Planner

Location: Norwood, NJ
Work Arrangement: On-site, five days per week

Phoenix Flavors & Fragrances is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Production Planner to coordinate production schedules, ensure material availability, and support on-time customer deliveries in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders, production capacity, and material availability.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Production teams to meet customer commitments.
  • Monitor work orders, inventory, and production schedules, proactively addressing material shortages and scheduling conflicts.
  • Maintain accurate production and inventory information in Net Suite, Batch Metrics, or similar ERP systems.
  • Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to Operations leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, scheduling, and inventory management.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least two years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
  • Manufacturing experience required; food, flavor, fragrance, or chemical industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with Net Suite, Batch Metrics, or comparable ERP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in office, production, and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
