About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery-Starter - 2nd Shift to join our team at our bakery location. As an Operator 1, Bakery-Starter - 2nd Shift
, you will be accountable for preparing and blending ingredients according to established recipes while ensuring dough quality, product consistency, and efficient production operations. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality bakery products by supporting mixing and starter room activities, maintaining food safety standards, and optimizing production efficiency.

Shift & Schedule
  • Shift: 2nd Shift
  • Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Weekend Availability: As required by business needs
Compensation
  • Hourly Rate: $20.00
Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)
  • Prepare and scale ingredients according to established recipes and production requirements.
  • Operate and monitor mixing processes to ensure product quality, consistency, and specification compliance.
  • Support starter room operations to maintain fermentation performance and production readiness.
  • Maintain accurate production, inventory, and batch documentation.
  • Coordinate mixing activities to support production schedules and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Maintain sanitary, organized, and food-safe work areas, equipment, and ingredient storage locations.
  • Promote food safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and contamination prevention throughout the manufacturing process.
Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum six (6) months of experience in a manufacturing, production, or general labor environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow recipes, formulas, and production instructions.
  • Ability to operate production equipment, process controls, and computer-based operating systems.
  • Ability to monitor product quality and make process adjustments as needed.
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accurate documentation.
