We are seeking a Tech 3, Sr. Controls Tech - 1st Shift to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a Tech 3, Sr. Controls Tech - 1st Shift
, you will be accountable for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems that support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. This role provides technical leadership for equipment reliability, system improvements, and training of Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM EST
• Weekend Availability: Required as business and production needs dictate

• Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $46.25

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts to ensure technical consistency and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Manage and maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution systems.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of machine layouts, control drawings, P&IDs, system interconnection drawings, and distributed control systems.
• Proficiency using Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration, and troubleshooting software.
