Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Direct Hire | 1st Shift | New Jersey We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company to identify a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their team on a direct-hire basis. This is a first-shift opportunity supporting manufacturing equipment, automation systems, and facility maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electromechanical equipment used within a manufacturing setting. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with both mechanical and electrical systems and enjoys solving problems to keep equipment running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and automated systems.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
  • Support equipment improvements and modifications as needed.
  • Assist with wiring, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Support general facility maintenance activities as needed.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and performance.

Desired Background/

Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ideal Background:
