Manufacturing/Slitting Operator II – 1st Shift

Location: West Caldwell, NJ

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:15 AM–2:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing/Slitting Operator II to join our manufacturing team in West Caldwell, NJ. In this role, you’ll operate slitting and rewinding equipment to process raw materials, medical tapes, and coated non-active/active drug laminates and films.

• Operate slitting and rewinding equipment to process raw materials, medical tapes, coated laminates, and films.
• Set up equipment properly, including wind direction, tension settings, and other machine parameters according to SOPs.
• Perform in-process quality checks and accurately complete batch records and manufacturing documentation.
• Follow MBRs, SOPs, cGMP requirements, safety procedures, and manufacturing orders.
• Safely use slitting tools and machine components, including scissors, crush tools, and razor knives.
• Label, package, and prepare finished materials for transfer or shipment.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas according to safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
• Complete all aspects of the slitting operation while maintaining product quality and production efficiency.
• Support safe and efficient manufacturing operations as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail when completing production documentation.
• Comfortable working with basic tools, equipment, and manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work safely in a production environment.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, Tyvek suits, and other protective equipment as required.

• Experience in a GMP/cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment

• Pharmaceutical, medical device, biotech, or other regulated manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience operating slitting, rewinding, converting, or similar production equipment.
