We are seeking a Operator 1, Bakery-Packing Relief - 1st shift to join our bakery team. As a Operator 1, Bakery-Packing Relief - 1st shift
, you will coordinate daily packaging and retail bagging activities, support team members, and help ensure products are packaged safely, accurately, and according to production and quality specifications.

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Weekend availability: Required

• Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Coordinate daily packaging and retail bagging activities to meet production schedules and assign work to team members.
• Monitor product quality and food safety requirements, including metal detector testing, freezer temperatures, and core product temperatures.
• Verify lot codes, bar codes, use-by dates, case labels, retail bags, and inkjet coding for accuracy and legibility.
• Complete packaging, production, spoilage, metal detector, pallet, checklist, and employee-hour documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain adequate packaging materials and supplies to support daily production requirements.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move products, including products entering and leaving the freezer.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and communicate equipment maintenance needs promptly.

• Two years of related manufacturing experience or training, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to accurately complete routine production and packaging reports.
• Ability to work the required 1st shift schedule, including weekends.
