We are seeking an Operator 1, Bakery
- Box Maker to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator 1, Bakery-Box Maker
, you will be accountable for operating, monitoring, and adjusting packaging equipment to ensure a continuous supply of properly formed boxes and inserted bags that meet product specifications, food safety requirements, and production schedules. This role is vital to maintaining packaging efficiency, product quality, and uninterrupted production flow.

• Shift: 3rd Shift

Hourly Pay Rate: $20

• Operate and monitor box forming, bag inserting, and box taping equipment to support packaging operations.
• Verify packaging materials, machine settings, and product specifications to ensure production readiness.
• Conduct quality checks on bag seals, box strength, and packaging integrity to meet product standards.
• Adjust and change over packaging equipment to accommodate varying product and case size requirements.
• Communicate equipment performance issues and maintenance needs to leadership and support teams.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and safety standards throughout operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through problem-solving, defect identification, and operational excellence activities.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience and/or equivalent combination of education and training.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, operating instructions, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use sound reasoning and apply common-sense problem-solving in standardized work situations.
