The Manager, Digital Marketing is responsible for handling key aspects of ISPOR marketing to further the Society's mission to promote health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and their use in decision making to improve health. Responsibilities include creation, management, and implementation of digital marketing campaigns including digital media buying, creation of marketing emails via the email service platform (ESP); development and execution of digital marketing strategy, routine reporting on related analytics;
supporting work for the website content management system (CMS); and other related marketing support.
- Manage, create, and oversee the execution of marketing campaigns including planning, implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage the Digital Marketing Specialist role who serves as primary owner for organizational email execution – including creating, approving, distributing, and analyzing emails through ISPOR's ESP – and ensure compliance and best practices with the CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, and email regulatory requirements.
- Analyze data, campaign metrics, and operational email performance; recommend/implement improvements based on results.
- Develop, manage, and execute organizational digital marketing initiatives, including digital advertisements, media buys, paid social media, and other marketing tactics that are relevant to the Society's visibility and impact in the digital space.
- Develop key metrics/analytics and benchmarks to assess marketing and communications projects company wide.
- Manage and develop direct reports.
- Manage, implement, and monitor Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social media ads; measure performance across digital marketing channels, campaigns, and website traffic; and report findings by providing a quarterly Executive Summary with recommendations for optimizing campaign performance.
- Create, disseminate, and present data analysis and reports on website and marketing initiatives for continual improvement.
- Analyze the performance and impact of marketing campaigns and tactics and use data to inform decision making and shape future marketing plans.
- Support key marketing initiatives to assure timely and accurate completion, including utilization and updating of project timelines and deployment schedule.
- Support the work of the web content manager with maintenance and updating of web content, utilizing the content management system to align with digital marketing campaigns.
- Support adherence to and maintain ISPOR Style Guide and ISPOR brand standards.
Minimum Requirements Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, health sciences, health policy, economics, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive digital marketing experience
- Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing multi‑channel digital campaigns
- Hands‑on experience with email marketing platforms (eg, Marketo or comparable ESP)
- Working knowledge of website content management systems (eg, Word Press or similar)
- Experience managing paid digital media (Google Ads, paid social, display)
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio/Data Studio, or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong data analysis skills with ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Experience developing campaign metrics, dashboards, and performance reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation and stakeholder communication abilities
