HSAD USA is seeking a strategic content and storytelling leader to build and lead the Creative Strategy capability within the Content Experience Group
The Creative Strategy Director is responsible for defining how brands, products, services, and customer experiences are translated into compelling narratives, messaging systems, and content frameworks that help customers discover, understand, compare, and choose products across the customer journey.
This role extends beyond traditional campaign planning and creative development. The Creative Strategy Director will lead the creation of scalable customer‑centric messaging systems that support discovery, consideration, decision‑making, and conversion across D2C, retail, marketplace, media, CRM, and AI‑driven discovery environments.
The ideal candidate combines brand strategy, customer insight, content strategy, and commerce storytelling expertise with the ability to build repeatable frameworks that can scale across channels and customer touchpoints

Organization ScopeLead the Creative Strategy Team and serve as the organization’s center of excellence for:
- Brand Narrative

- Conversion Content Planning
- AI‑Ready Content Strategy
Develop and maintain integrated narrative and messaging frameworks across products, categories, and customer journeys.
Act as the steward of how customer needs, business priorities, and brand positioning are translated into content experiences.
2. Customer Insight & Intent StrategyLead the development of customer‑focused content strategies rooted in audience understanding and decision‑making behavior.
- Objection identification and resolution frameworks
- Information need assessment
Translate customer insights into actionable content and messaging strategies.
3. Discovery & Conversion Content StrategyDesign content strategies that improve discoverability and conversion performance across digital and retail environments.
- Discovery content frameworks
- Product comparison frameworks
- Decision‑support content systems
Ensure content strategies support customer evaluation and purchasing decisions.
4. AI‑Ready Content StrategyPartner with the AX Transformation Office and Content Operations team to develop future‑ready content frameworks.
- AI‑readable content structures
- Question‑and‑answer content frameworks
- Conversational content strategies
- Content modularization strategy
Support the organization’s readiness for AI‑driven discovery and answer‑based customer experiences.
Establish strategic consistency across all content ecosystems.
Provide strategic guidance for:
- PDP content
Retail and marketplace content - CRM content
- Campaign content
- AI discovery content
Ensure consistent customer understanding regardless of channel.
6. Cross‑Functional CollaborationPartner closely with:
- Experience Design Team
- Content Production Team
- Content Operations Team
- Client Service Group
- Channel Operations Group
- Media Performance Team
Translate business objectives into content and messaging strategies that can be executed effectively across teams. Serve as the primary strategic advisor on content, messaging, and customer storytelling.
7. Team Leadership & Capability DevelopmentBuild and develop a high‑performing Creative Strategy organization.

Create repeatable frameworks, tools, and best practices that elevate strategic thinking across the organization.
Qualifications Required Experience- 10+ years of experience in brand strategy, content strategy, creative strategy, communications planning, or integrated marketing strategy
- Experience building messaging and narrative systems across multiple channels
- Strong understanding of customer journey and decision‑making behavior
- Experience developing content strategies for digital, commerce, and customer experience environments
- Consumer electronics or technology categories
- D2C and retail commerce ecosystems
- Product marketing and category storytelling
- Customer experience strategy
- AI‑era content strategy and knowledge architecture
