Group Product Director, KOL Strategic Engagement and Development (CAPLYTA®)

Titusville, New Jersey, United States of America

Position:
Reports to the Director of Marketing, CAPLYTA®. Responsible for setting and executing the overarching KOL strategy across all CAPLYTA® indications (MDD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia). The role will be located in Titusville, NJ and may involve up to 30% travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set the overarching KOL engagement strategy for existing advocates and develop a pipeline of new and emerging KOLs across all CAPLYTA® indications.
  • Own end‑to‑end peer‑to‑peer (P2P) strategy, large speaker bureau management, and program optimization across all indications.
  • Create and curate content deployed through TLL field interactions, congress activations, speaker programs, and digital channels.
  • Lead congress strategy including booth presence, product theaters, roadshows, and executive KOL encounters.
  • Lead advisory board strategy focused on insight generation to inform content development, unmet needs, and clinical perceptions.
  • Drive TLL marketing content strategy, development, training, and field insight synthesis in partnership with the TLL National Director.
  • Synthesize KOL and field insights to inform brand strategy, competitive positioning, and co‑positioning across the Neuroscience portfolio.
  • Ensure coordinated, customer‑centric KOL engagement across the Neuroscience portfolio to maximize impact of peer‑to‑peer content.
  • Manage and develop a team of three direct reports: two Product Directors and one Product Manager.
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders including Medical Affairs, Sales Leadership, Market Access, and Global Commercial teams to ensure strategic alignment.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Education:

    BA/BS required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including marketing and/or sales.
  • Minimum of 3 years of people‑management experience, including developing and coaching direct reports.
  • Demonstrated experience leading KOL engagement, peer‑to‑peer strategy, and/or medical education programs.
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross‑functional teams and drive strategic alignment across matrixed organizations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong decision‑making skills and ability to manage complexity across multiple projects and indications.
  • Preferred:
    Experience in Psychiatry, Neuroscience, or CNS therapeutic area; launch experience; marketing and sales leadership; speaker bureau and congress strategy management; partnership with R&D, Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, Market Access, Patient Advocacy, and Supply Chain.
