Position OverviewThe Marketing Consultant will support strategic marketing initiatives during a 12-week engagement. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with a passion for beauty, fragrance, and consumer insights who enjoys translating market intelligence into actionable business strategies. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will analyze industry trends, evaluate competitive activity, and develop polished, client‑facing reports and presentations that support key business decisions.
Responsibilitiesof the Marketing Consultant
- Monitor and analyze global beauty and fragrance industry trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
- Identify emerging market opportunities through research and competitive analysis.
- Develop executive and client-facing presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations using sales data and consumer insights.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing and business stakeholders to support key initiatives.
- Translate complex market data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Support special marketing projects and additional initiatives as needed.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within the beauty, fragrance, cosmetics, luxury, or consumer products industries.
- Strong understanding of the beauty and fragrance marketplace, consumer trends, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive‑level presentations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to independently drive projects from concept through completion.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and collaborative with a "no task too big or too small" attitude.
- Experience in consumer insights, category management, market research, or competitive intelligence.
- Familiarity with graphic design or creative presentation tools is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
