Social Media Manager

We are seeking a socially and digitally savvy, well experienced marketer to develop and execute our social media marketing strategies. Our Social Media Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining LG’s social media channels in the US. This person should have a deep understand of social media marketing, specifically in the electronics and appliances industries. This position will work directly with the Director of Social Media and the social media team to build and execute social media marketing projects across multiple channels, including live events.

This candidate must have at least 3-5 years of digital and/or social media experience with excellent writing, communication and organization skills. Our Social Media Manager should be personable, presents a positive attitude, knows the social media/influencer world and how to communicate and negotiate partnerships. An interest in appliances, kitchen makeovers, electronics, lifestyle, gaming, tech and family-centric content is preferred. Must quickly learn and emulate the LG social media voice that matches with our “Life Good” voice and tone.

• Assists in Social media/influencer strategy on all LG US campaigns, NPI and programs
• Helps to oversee all social media content across all owned LG properties working across US and HQ teams to develop, plan and operationalize brand launches, campaigns and promotions
• Partner cross-functionally with brand marketing, product, PR, creative and external agencies to support all LG product categories and priorities
• LG US social media posting and production calendar
• Reporting and analytics to ensure performance metrics are met and optimized
• Project management oversight for all social media initiatives
• Develops and manages influencer strategies and partnerships
• Cultivates strong relationships with influencers and talent agencies
• Drives measurable brand awareness and engagement using influencer marketing efforts
• Point person with legal team on all LG US and HQ influencer content
• Helps to oversee influencer agency

• In-depth knowledge of social media marketing
• Knowledge of different social platforms & communication tools
• Proven track record in outreach campaign strategies and execution
• Strong verbal and writing skills, a problem solver, great with time-management, analytical and project management skills.
• 3-5 years in working in digital brand marketing, social media and/or outreach.
• Personable, organized and pays close attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship building skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines, especially when it comes to reporting data.
• Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite components, particularly in Power Point and Excel.
• Ability to adapt and learn in a fast paced collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree marketing, communications or advertising is a must
