Job Summary Daiichi Sankyo is in a period of rapid growth and transformation. As the company leverages its first-in-class and best-in-class medicines that are transforming and improving standards of care across a range of cancers, the Global Business Development (GBD) organization is evolving to meet the needs of a global oncology company. The Strategy & Operations group plays a key leadership role in driving this evolution anchored on developing the GBD Strategy with enterprise alignment, external engagement, business capabilities and operations and organizational effectiveness.

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Business Development Strategy & Operations, this role is responsible for developing and executing the communications, engagement, and organizational effectiveness strategy that enables Global Business Development to operate as a globally aligned, high-performing organization. The role leads internal and external engagement initiatives, executive communications, leadership communications, external ecosystem engagement strategy, organizational change management, and learning programs that strengthen GBD's effectiveness, visibility, and culture while supporting Daiichi Sankyo's external innovation strategy.

This experienced leader will develop an integrated engagement plan with key stakeholders ensuring communications are strategic, engaging, leverage storytelling, articulate the company's vision, goals and values, and influence our desired positive culture, which will require learning and maintaining a deep understanding of business strategies. This role will require a close partnership with Daiichi Sankyo corporate communications.

Job Description Responsibilities External Engagement Strategy:
Develop and execute GBD’s external engagement strategy aligned to corporate and external innovation priorities. Recommend conference, ecosystem, sponsorship, membership, and thought leadership priorities. Lead planning and execution of Partnering Days, ecosystem immersions, executive engagements, and strategic external events. Develop executive presentations and messaging for senior leadership. Build Daiichi Sankyo's reputation as a partner of choice within the innovation ecosystem. Partner closely with Corporate Communications on enterprise messaging.

Organizational Communication & Leadership engagement:
Responsible for developing a multi-level internal communications strategy for the GBD Team, and internal key stakeholders. Supports corporate communications with messaging and input on internal company-wide communications relevant to GBD. Develop key messages and executive communications themes and messaging and determine the appropriate communication tools for the various targeted audience to be leveraged in multi-channel communications (GBD Team All Hands meetings, internal stakeholder road shows, newsletters, annual impact report, organizational announcements, etc..)

Learning, Capability Building & Organizational Development:
Lead the evolution of a learning and development program for GBD and extended members engaging in external innovation. This includes supporting a continuous learning curriculum, onboarding of new employees, creating a communities of practice, lunch and learns, educational sessions and other education forums Support Globalization and Change Management Initiatives:
