Raritan Valley Community College's Marketing department is currently seeking a Federal Work Study eligible student worker. The Marketing department is looking for a creative, motivated, and social media-savvy student to join their team. This role is perfect for someone interested in marketing, communications, or digital media, and offers real-world experience managing social platforms, creating content, and engaging with online audiences.

Create and schedule posts for Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and Tik Tok.

Film, edit, and post Instagram Reels and Tik Toks that align with our brand and goals.

Help brainstorm and support campaigns and promotions.

Design simple graphics and edit short videos (Canva, Reels, etc.).

Monitor social channels and engage with our online community.

Track performance metrics and share monthly highlights.

Stay on top of social media trends, especially short-form video.

Minimum Qualifications:

Full-time or Part-time RVCC student, and eligible for Federal Work Study.

Strong interest or experience in creating Reels, Tik Toks, or short-form video content.

Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices.

Excellent writing skills and creative eye for content.

Organized, dependable, and eager to learn.

Willing to learn and contribute ideas in a collaborative environment.

Familiarity with Canva or similar tools is a plus.

ELIGIBILITY:
You must have completed the FAFSA, have financial need and submit all financial aid required documents. Please verify eligibility with Financial Aid at finaid.

• Degree-Seeing, Full-time (12+ credits) or Part-time (6 credits) RVCC student.
• In good academic standing.

Dress - business casual and RVCC gear for events (will be provided).

Requires sitting, standing, bending, kneeling and/or crouching, walking, and climbing.

Occasionally move and lift up to 25 pounds.
