Overview
Rise Pantry Shopping Assistant Volunteer
Rise Pantry is looking for Shopping Assistant volunteers to support our Rise Choice Pantry. Volunteers are needed for the full shift to help meet the growing need for appointments and to provide a welcoming, supportive shopping experience for our neighbors.
Responsibilities- Greeting and assisting shoppers throughout their pantry visit
- Walking alongside clients as they shop for food
- Helping select items based on family size and household needs
- Entering item selections into Pantry Soft on an iPad
- Supporting pantry flow, organization, and client experience
- Assisting with light restocking or carts as needed
Training on Pantry Soft and iPad use will be provided on site.
NotesPlease note: Volunteers are needed for the full shift, as consistency is especially important in this role.
