Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 per year

Chateau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Staff Educator to join our leadership team. This dual-role position supports the Director of Nursing (DON) with both administrative and clinical leadership responsibilities while overseeing the development, coordination, and delivery of nursing education programs.

The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in staff development, clinical education, and regulatory compliance, who is passionate about mentoring and empowering nursing staff to deliver exceptional resident-centered care.

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations of the nursing department
• Develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive staff education and training programs
• Conduct orientation and onboarding for new nursing employees
• Provide ongoing in-service education to ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Monitor staff competencies and clinical performance, providing coaching and mentorship
• Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, and performance improvement programs
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, resident safety standards, and best nursing practices
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for professionalism, leadership, and teamwork

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Minimum 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care
• Prior experience in staff education, training, or clinical instruction strongly preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and nursing practice standards
