Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU Stepdown & Telemetry - Per diem Days

Jersey Shore University Medical Center Borough of Neptune City, New Jersey

Hackensack Meridian Health nurses care for patients and their families 24/7 across multiple facilities. The Registered Nurse provides direct care to complex neurological patients, coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, and ensures safe, evidence‑based care.

• Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research, policies, and standards of care for individualized patient care.
• Communicate ongoing updates with patients, families, nursing colleagues, and other health‑care team members regarding status, care, and treatment plans.
• Administer medications using bar‑scanning and documentation technologies to ensure safety.
• Document patient assessments, plans of care, interventions, and evaluation in point‑of‑care electronic system.
• Provide patient and family‑centered education to optimize health and disease management.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transitions and continuum of care.

• Valid New Jersey Nursing license required.
• BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Telemetry certification preferred.
• BSN in progress or ability to obtain within three (3) years.
• Strong teamwork, quick learning, accountability, dedication to ongoing education, and patient‑focused care.

Minimum hourly rate of $45.14. Pay ranges are based on market data, experience, education, certifications, location, and internal equity.
