Pay: $47.00—$48.50 per hour (includes $1.50 shift differential for 2nd shift).

Registered Nurse Full Time – Residential Program at 1000 Atlantic Avenue, Camden, NJ (Virtua facility). Population:
Adolescents.

• Bachelor’s degree or BSN

This position is responsible for assessment, coordination, and provision of youth’s health care needs. It provides expert consultation and guidance to staff regarding medication and health issues for youth. The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend hours.

Reports to:

Lead RN

• 18 years of age or older
• Licensed, registered nurse in the state of New Jersey
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, or a related field
• At least one year of direct care nursing experience with youth

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean criminal record history clearance and child abuse history clearance
• Physically able to use therapeutic holds, certified biannually
• Trauma‑informed care skills to de‑escalate crisis situations
• Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Flexible scheduling, available for agency holidays as required
• Basic computer skills
• Prioritization under pressure

Responsible for daily supervision and maintaining awareness of youth locations at all times.

• Serve as role model and coach for problem‑solving, decision‑making, conflict resolution, independent living, and responsibilities

• Observe and document behavior, physical and emotional symptoms; perform interventions as needed
• Familiar with all youth treatment plans
