Shrewsbury Surgery Center is hiring a full‑time RN PACU!

Role Overview

As a PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) you will provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, continually evaluating their condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. You may assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and the use of sterile techniques as appropriate. You will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
  • Preferred two or more years experience in PACU or critical care
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Pay Range

$46.00/hr – $51.00/hr (wages determined based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience)
