RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Instructor for the Develop Innovation & Research Department at Monmouth Medical Center.

• Report identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (e.g., damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas) and medical errors.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete competency skill assessments for all staff on an annual basis.
• Consult with staff nurses, clinical directors, physicians, administrators, and other professionals on practice‑related issues.
• Contribute to performance evaluations of nursing staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate nursing orientation with the clinical director, orientee, and preceptor.
• Participate in general nursing education programs.
• Develop and conduct educational programs based on the skills, knowledge, and needs of nursing staff, patients, and families.
• Develop nursing standards of practice, patient‑care standards, and policies and procedures with registered nurses.
• Assist with implementation of policies through education.
• Enhance professional growth through continuing education, independent study, and participation in professional organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.

• BS/BSN.
• Minimum of three years of current experience in areas of specialization.
• One‑year experience with demonstrated leadership/management.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and ACLS through AHA.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License.
• Preferred: ED degree in Nursing or related health field; if master’s is non‑nursing, BSN preferred.
