Registered Nurse - Psych Adult

• Perform basic duties including the treatment of patients, education about mental and medical conditions, and provision of emotional support to patients and/or family members.
• Run therapeutic groups, provide psychiatric crisis intervention, and apply seclusion and restraint of patients when necessary.
• Record patient medical histories and symptoms; assist in performing diagnostic tests, analyze results, operate medical machinery, administer treatments and medications, and coordinate patient follow‑up and rehabilitation.
• Teach patients and families how to manage illness or injury, diet and exercise programs, and self‑administration of medication and physical therapy.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and thereafter maintained.
• Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
• Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient units.
• Working knowledge of the continuum of care for behavioral health care.

Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation. A reasonable estimate for this role is $51.00 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hiring based on factors such as skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
