Job DescriptionAssistant Health and Wellness Director / Assistant Dir. of Nursing (RN)
Monarch Communities, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking an Assistant Health and Wellness Director / ADON to join our team.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000 Yearly
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and direct overall clinical operations of the nursing department in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, department, and personnel.
- Develop and implement active wellness programs for residents, working with the Activity Director.
- Maintain resident files in an orderly manner and document all pertinent information regarding residents.
- Prepare resident charges and reports for approval and billing.
Assess residents within 90 days prior to move-in and annually throughout residency or as the resident's condition changes. - Develop the initial Individual Service Plan (ISP) within 72 hours of move-in and the comprehensive ISP within 30 days of move-in and annually or as condition changes.
- Oversee resident care provided by the nursing department.
- Investigate all resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department and report findings to the Director, ensuring problems are resolved.
- Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate all nursing staff.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current nursing license (RN) in good standing.
- Two or more years’ experience in a supervisory role in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, or Skilled Care.
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.
- Required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
- Required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs, including intermittent lifting and supporting residents. Must use proper body mechanics.
