School Nurse

Qualifications:

1. An earned Bachelor's Degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university, based upon an approved School Nurse Program that includes student teaching
2. Current New Jersey registered Professional Nurse License (R.N.) 3. New Jersey Department of Education School Nurse Certificate
4. Required Criminal History background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
5. Holds a valid State of New Jersey driver's license
6. Satisfactory health status
7. Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable Job Goal:
Satisfactory health status To promote health and safety in the school environment and provide health services to students, faculty and staff; to assist with the teaching of sound health practices; to attend to the health and well-being of the students, such that an emergency would take precedence over all other activities. 1. Please see below for salary range for Step 1 School Nurse. Salary may be negotiable based on experience. Step 1 BA: $61,025, Step 1 BA + 30: $63,577, Step 1 MA: $64,852, etc. 2. Sick and Personal Days included
