Riverfront School Effective:  School Year (Immediate Opening) Applicants must possess one of the following:
Valid New Jersey School Nurse Certificate, or Valid New Jersey Emergency School Nurse Certificate Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) required Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License required Current CPR/AED certification required Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide comprehensive nursing services to students in accordance with New Jersey statutes, administrative code, district policy, and best practices. Assess and respond to student health needs, illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district procedures. Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Healthcare Plans (IHPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and other required health plans.

Maintain accurate student health records and ensure compliance with immunization and state reporting requirements. Collaborate with administrators, teachers, Child Study Team members, families, physicians, and community agencies to support student health and wellness. Promote a safe and healthy school environment through health education, prevention, and wellness initiatives. Participate as a member of multidisciplinary teams and attend meetings as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designee.
