Certified Nurse Aide CNA

Overview

Alaris Health at Cedar Grove, a 217-bed skilled nursing facility in Cedar Grove, NJ, seeks Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) to perform resident care activities and related non-professional services essential to residents’ personal needs and comfort. FT and PT positions available. Sign-on bonus of $1,000 paid at $250 a quarter over 12 months. Tuition reimbursement after 90 days of employment for CNAs who receive their NJ state certification.

• Perform duties in a respectful manner that is conducive to residents’ safety and comfort and in accordance with standards of high-quality care
• Assist with residents’ activities of daily living
• Make appointments for residents, accompany them on a timely basis, assist with post-mortem care and transfer residents’ belongings and equipment as directed
• Report changes in a resident’s condition to his/her family or responsible party
• Ensure that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere that recognizes each individual’s needs and rights

• Certified as a CNA
• High school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred
• Attend a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education programs provided by the Center to maintain certification and successfully complete a state-approved certified nursing assistant program
