PRN Home Health Nurse (RN) – Critical Care Trach & Vent Nurse – $95/hr (ICU experience required)

Day shift/Overnight 12 hour shift

Brightstar Care of Hunterdon County is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with Trach, Vent, and Critical Care experience. We have an immediate opening for an overnight (12 hour shift).

• Current and valid RN License in NJ
• Vent & Trach experience Required
• Recent ICU experience Required
• at least 1yr experience as an RN
• Driver's License with auto insurance

• The Home Critical Care Nurse is responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care as ordered per physician, monitoring mechanical ventilation, administering medications, patient assessments, monitoring, teaching, and training.
• Obtains vital signs, temperature, height/length, weight, oxygen saturation and pain scores; reports abnormal values to RN. Obtains other measurements (i.e., head circumference, abdominal girth) per unit standard.
• Responds to monitor alarms.
• Exhibits organizational ability related to workflow, prioritizing to meet the patient care needs
• Prepare and administer medications and review medication cards for completeness and accuracy
• Integrates current standards of practice as well as local, state, and federal regulations
• Complete required record keeping in regard to your role in admitting, transferring and discharging residents.
• Review resident care plans for appropriate resident goals, problems, approaches and revisions based on nursing needs.
• Chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner
• Must be caring, compassionate, have good communication skills, have a positive attitude and be a team player

• Day or Overnight (12 hour shift)
