Surgical Nurse - Days Shift
Days - 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Nurse with a strong background in Scrubbing and Circulating for various surgical specialties, including Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma Care. The successful candidate will hold current licensure in the State of New Jersey and be required to work on weekends and be on-call for 36 hours a month.
Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
- Provide care for patients undergoing surgeries in various specialties.
- Assist in preparing the operating room and maintaining sterile environments.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in surgical nursing with expertise in Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic Spine, Robotics, and Trauma.
- Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- National certification in specialty area preferred.
