Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

Overview

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) position requiring a weekend nights-only schedule and cardiac drip experience at a Level 1 Trauma facility in New Jersey.

• Active NJ RN license currently in hand (pending license not accepted)
• Current certifications (AHA only — ARC not accepted): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 3 years of recent PCU RN experience at a busy Level 1 Trauma facility
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination plus at least one booster required (religious exemptions accepted)

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
• Weekend nights-only schedule: 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Cardiac drip management is a core part of patient care
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required to float to all like units
• Candidates residing anywhere in the state of New Jersey are considered local and may be eligible at a different rate
• Only American Heart Association (AHA) certifications are accepted — American Red Cross (ARC) certifications will not be considered
