Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse specializes in providing comprehensive care to cardiac and telemetry patients, assisting physicians in patient assessment and treatment. They develop and execute individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure adherence to evidence-based standards.

• Evaluate patients' conditions and assist physicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessments.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to clinical changes promptly.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform wound and post-procedural care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and clinical observations.

• Current RN license in NJ or multi-state compact.
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in an MS/Tele unit within a major acute care hospital.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Telemetry required.
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred.
