Position Summary:As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our facility, you will provide advanced nursing care to residents while supporting the clinical needs of the unit. You will pair strong clinical expertise with day-to-day leadership to ensure comprehensive care is seamlessly delivered. Collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary team, you will help implement and evaluate specialized care programs to ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:Clinical Excellence: Serve as a clinical role model in the delivery of advanced care, utilizing the nursing process to manage complex clinical cases.
Direct Care &
Education:
Demonstrate, teach, and support advanced nursing skills utilized in direct resident care.Care Planning: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate complex resident care goals and clinical protocols.
Discharge Coordination: Provide expert clinical input in developing and implementing comprehensive discharge and transition plans for residents and families.
Unit Support: Manage the daily clinical flow of the assigned unit, ensuring a professional, evidence-based standard of care.
Communication & Shift Handover: Conduct routine shift meetings to disseminate clinical data, establish unit protocols, and evaluate daily operational effectiveness.
Quality & Compliance: Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) activities, review medical records, and ensure strict adherence to all legal, safety, health, and regulatory codes.
Resident Advocacy: Guarantee that residents and families receive the highest quality of compassionate care, respecting individual rights and dignity.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) valid in New Jersey.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a pivotal member of a healthcare team.
Upon hire pass TB screening and required health checks.

Advanced Clinical Competence: Deep knowledge of complex nursing practices, medical procedures, and the specific regulations/guidelines governing long-term care.
Clinical Guidance: Proven ability to manage unit workflows, problem-solve independently, make critical clinical decisions, and maintain a positive departmental culture.
Interpersonal Excellence: Exceptional patience, tact, and communication skills necessary to interact professionally with residents, families, visitors, staff, and government regulatory agencies.
