Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Arnold Walter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LTC nurse leader who is passionate about quality resident care, staff development, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.
• Support daily nursing operations and collaborate with facility leadership.
• Address clinical and unit-related concerns effectively.
• Promote staff engagement, professional development, and teamwork.
• Participate in weekly wound rounds.
• Assist with surveys, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong communication with staff, physicians, residents, and families.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 3 years of long-term care experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
