Role DescriptionThe Registered Nurse role is a part-time, on-site position based in Mountainside, NJ. The nurse will provide direct patient care, including intake assessments, vital signs, and assisting with gynecologic exams and procedures. Responsibilities include administering medications, providing contraceptive and fertility education, coordinating pre- and post-operative care, and supporting patient recovery and follow-up. The nurse will collaborate closely with physician, maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record, and help ensure a safe, comfortable clinic environment.
The role also involves patient triage, answering clinical inquiries, reinforcing treatment plans, and participating in quality improvement and infection-control practices.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey; graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Clinical experience in women’s health, gynecology, obstetrics, or a related specialty setting
- Strong patient assessment, triage, and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to provide clear, sensitive patient education on reproductive health, contraception, and surgical procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to culturally competent, gender-neutral, and non-discriminatory care for diverse patient populations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple patients and tasks in a busy clinic
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with evidence-based gynecologic nursing practices
