Overview

Sub‑Acute, Long‑Term Care is a sector of healthcare exploding with potential and work‑life balance flexibility (no on‑call or weekends)!

We are seeking a Part Time (16‑24 hours per week) provider for our Arbor Glen Center located in Cedar Grove, NJ. This position can be filled by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant. At least 1 year of provider experience is required.

The base salary range for this position is $58–$62 per hour, in addition to our no‑cap incentive compensation bonus program.

Responsibilities

The Advanced Practice Provider reports directly to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates on‑site with the Center Leadership Team for center‑specific goals and priorities. The Advanced Practice Provider collaborates with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient‑specific medical care.

The Advanced Practice Provider provides primary and urgent care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with the other medical providers in the center. The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively with Center Leadership to achieve Align Med Partners mission of improving the lives we touch through the delivery of high‑quality health care and everyday compassion.

Qualifications

The Advanced Practice Provider must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse, and certified as a Nurse Practitioner by completing a nursing graduate program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a concentration in Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Other concentrations/specialty tracks will be considered based on experience and business need.

The Physician Assistant must be a graduate from a program accredited by the ARC‑PA and pass the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE). PA state licensure and NCCPA certification are required.

A minimum of two years of experience working with adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

In states where practice allows, APRNs with an unrestricted professional license and DEA, and PAs with an unrestricted professional license and DEA for each state in which they practice, are required.

Restrictions apply based on collective bargaining agreements, applicable state law and factors such as pay classification, job grade, location, and length of service.
