This Med Surg travel nurse position in Brick Township, New Jersey, with Advantis Medical is a 14-week Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Hackensack Meridian - Ocean University Medical Center. This role pays $2,163 per week and follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule.
As the Med Surg registered nurse on this assignment, you'll prioritize care across a varied medical-surgical caseload, administer ordered medications and treatments, educate patients and families, and manage admissions, discharges, and safe care transitions.

Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload of patients with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions, including postoperative care when assigned
- Perform thorough assessments and monitor for changes in condition, escalating concerns promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers with the interdisciplinary care team
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg nursing experience
- Active New Jersey RN License
