Examples of Duties

• Reports to the Supervisor, Facilities with the Grounds Foreman providing oversight and delegation of duties
• Performs a variety of grounds, labor maintenance, and heavy cleaning projects at all locations
• Moves and relocates college equipment and furniture
• Performs grounds services as assigned; assists with installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems, all roads, and parking areas, mows grass
• Performs all aspects of snow/ice removal and treatment; operates mechanical motorized equipment; sets up chairs, tables, etc.
• Performs related duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED

• Landscaping experience

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License.

Paid sick leave in accordance with NJ Sick Leave Law

• This position may require flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.

Defined Contribution Retirement Program (DCRP)

Eligible part‑time employees will be enrolled into the DCRP (Defined Contribution Retirement Plan) pension. Employees contribute 5% of their base salary and the college contributes 3% of base salary. Investment options are managed through Prudential Retirement. Life insurance benefits through DCRP are payable to the beneficiary at 1.5X the member's salary.
