Role: Experienced Veterinary Receptionist
Salary: $19.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Flexible weekly scheduling with rotating Saturdays designed to support a healthy work-life balance

Chesterfield Veterinary Clinic is looking for an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our incredible team. Our motto is "Quality care with compassion," and that philosophy shapes the way we care for our patients, support our clients, and work with one another.
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll often be the first and last person our clients interact with during their visit. You’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience, keeping the hospital organized, and helping our medical team provide efficient, thoughtful care.

- Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions and scheduling needs
- Schedule and confirm appointments while helping maintain an efficient hospital workflow
Check clients and patients in and out - Process payments and review invoices with clients
- Maintain accurate client and patient information
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, hospital services, and next steps
- Anticipate the needs of the veterinary team and help promote efficiency throughout the hospital
- Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support clients during both routine visits and emotionally difficult situations
- Jump in and assist teammates wherever needed
- Previous veterinary reception experience
- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to clients, patients, and coworkers
- Ability to remain calm, friendly, and professional in a busy environment
- Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and learning veterinary software
- Dependable attendance and reliable work habits
- Positive, supportive attitude and team-first mindset
