Veterinary Technician

Bernardsville Animal Hospital is a long-standing general practice hospital with deep ties to the community, located in Bernardsville, New Jersey. Our goal is to provide compassionate and quality medicine while striving to make an impact in our community and treat our patients/clients like family.

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, surgical assisting experience and knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

• Experienced as a Veterinary Technician
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment is a plus. Experience working with these tools is even better
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint
• Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting
• Excellent communication and ability to gain strong organizational skills
• Saturday shifts are required
• Electronic medical recording and data entry

Pay Range: $22.00-$25.00 based on experience
