Key Responsibilities:

Patient Monitoring:
Continuously monitor vital signs, including heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, and temperature.

Medication Administration:
Accurately dose and administer critical care drugs, fluids, and pain management.

Emergency Response:
Perform CPR, administer oxygen, and stabilize critical patients in emergency situations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with veterinarians to follow treatment plans and adjust care as needed.

Diagnostic Testing:
Perform routine diagnostic tests such as blood work and blood pressure readings.

Advanced Therapies:
Administer oxygen, blood transfusions, and mechanical ventilation when necessary.

Compensation Transparency Compensation is determined based on experience, demonstrated competencies, and eligibility for additional differentials, aligned with defined skill expectations to ensure fairness, clarity, and opportunity for growth.

Compensation Example Example:
Weekend Overnight Shift (Qualified Candidate)
Base hourly rate: $35.00

Weekend overnight differential (20%): +$7.00/hour Additional Friday/Saturday overnight differential: +$3.50/hour Total overnight rate: $35.00 + $7.00 + $3.50 = $45.50/hour

For a 12-hour overnight shift, this equals:$546.00 for the shift

Example:
Weekday Overnight Shift Base hourly rate: $35.00

Weekday overnight differential (15%): +$5.25/hour Total overnight rate: $40.25/hour

For a 12-hour overnight shift, this equals:$483.00 for the shift
