As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a key role in supporting both our doctors and clients during appointments and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting doctors during wellness and sick appointments
• Assisting with patient restraint, sample collection, and treatments
• Drawing blood, placing IV catheters, running in‑house lab work, and preparing samples for send‑out testing
• Administering vaccines and medications as directed
• Discussing vaccine protocols, preventive care, and post‑visit instructions with clients
• Providing compassionate, low‑stress patient handling and nursing care
• Supporting anesthesia monitoring, recovery, and dental procedures as trained veterinary technician
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
• Collaborating with technicians, assistants, and CSRs to keep appointments running smoothly

• Prior experience working as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant is required
• Comfortable working in exam rooms and supporting client‑facing appointments
• Experience with blood draws, placing IV catheters, injections, vaccines, and client education
• Familiarity with basic lab work and medical record systems
• Licensed or certified veterinary technicians in New Jersey is preferred, but licensure is not required
• Calm, compassionate animal handling skills
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a team‑first mindset
• Desire to continue learning and growing within the veterinary field

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 an hour, to commensurate with experience.
