Required Qualifications- BS Degree in Microbiology and GMP experience (can be Co-op/internship)
- Biology, microbiology, biochemistry or any life science degree with at least one year in a clean‑room or tissue environment performing microbiology techniques (or GMP) will be considered
This group manufactures tissue products. The role supports QC labs and performs sample preparation, swabbing, pipetting, and aseptic technique.
Candidate will work in high‑level aseptic, silent environments and perform repetitive tasks such as syringe inspection.
Must be able to tolerate sitting in the same position for 6.5 hours a day (55 minutes consecutive with 5 minutes of visual rest), all day with low light, and tolerate cold rooms of 15–25 °C, occasionally 2–8 °C.
As a Biologics Operator I, responsibilities include cleaning and preparing equipment, formulating solutions, process testing, filtering, transferring solutions, providing support for aseptic filling of small‑volume syringes using RABS, inspecting filled products, operating parts washers, autoclaves, CIP and SIP systems, formulation tanks, filter integrity testing machines, magnetic stirrers, making material inventories, monitoring alarm systems, assembling equipment, and following Good Manufacturing Practices and SOPs.
The operator informs the supervisor of any events during the shift.
