Job Title:
Quality Control Technician
Perform basic quality control laboratory testing on food products and materials. Responsibilities include taking samples from production and completing all necessary documentation.
Responsibilities- Conduct basic QC lab tests on food products and materials.
- Collect samples from production areas.
- Accurately complete and maintain all necessary documentation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Food Science.
- Hands‑on experience with laboratory testing such as titrations, pH, moisture, or brix (academic experience is acceptable).
Skills & Qualifications
- Laboratory skills, microbiology knowledge, experience in food science, quality control, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
The role involves working both in the laboratory and taking samples from the manufacturing floor. There are two openings on the 1st shift (6 am to 2 pm, 7 am to 3 pm, or 8 am to 4 pm) and two openings on the 2nd shift (2 pm to 10 pm or 3 pm to 11 pm). This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative food products in a large, well‑known company in the food industry.
It is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain industry experience.
This is a Contract position based out of Pennsauken, NJ.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 – $25.00 per hour.
