Quality Assurance Associate (Temporary)

A premier manufacturing organization in Pine Brook, NJ, is seeking a strategic and hands-on Quality Assurance Associate for a temporary assignment. This leadership role oversees the quality lifecycle, from raw material specifications to finished-product commercialization.+1

Role Overview
  • Location: Pine Brook, NJ
  • Position Type: Temporary
  • Compensation: $25.00/hr

    Key Responsibilities
  • QMS Leadership: Establish, maintain, and formalize the Quality Management System (QMS), including the development of overarching Quality Policies and Objectives.
  • Specification Oversight: Manage all required specifications for raw materials, product-in-process, finished goods, and packaging materials.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing product performance data and executing strategic action plans.
  • Technical Compliance: Guarantee the frequency and precision of calibration for all measuring instruments used in quality assurance.
  • Training & Documentation: Design staff training plans that meet legal requirements and oversee the creation and maintenance of all procedures, records, and resources.+1
  • Operational Control: Implement formal systems for material verification and process controls-including sampling and testing-to reduce variability and prevent non-conformities.
  • Issue Resolution: Manage systems for documenting and resolving customer complaints and internal non-conformities using root cause analysis and traceability.
  • Audit Management: Establish internal audit schedules and direct second- and third-party audits to ensure all findings are resolved satisfactorily.+1
  • Safety Protocols: Establish and validate product recall procedures through regular drills and effectiveness evaluations.
  • Product Development Support: Collaborate with the development team to create standards for new formulations and support their commercialization based on legal and cost-effective requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or in a relevant Quality leadership role.
  • Expertise in establishing and managing a comprehensive Quality Management System.
  • Strong background in internal and external audit coordination.
  • Excellent collaborative skills to ensure alignment of quality initiatives across all departments.
  • Deep understanding of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $25.00 - $27.00 Per Hour
