Food Manufacturing Company Urgently Hiring Entry Level Quality Inspectors on 1st Shift to Start ASAP in Flanders, NJ
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for overseeing all incoming raw materials, conducting in-process food safety checks, inspecting finished goods, performing HACCP line audits, maintaining record keeping for external testing, and ensuring sanitation and document control.
Responsibilities
- Suggest and debate alternative methods and procedures to solve problems and meet changing food safety challenges.
- Select products for testing at specified stages in the production process, and assess products for various qualities such as physical, organoleptic, or chemical characteristics.
- Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
- Evaluate data and report any deviations from existing standards to a supervisor.
- Prepare samples for customer evaluations.
- Assist sales representatives with sample order requests.
- Perform HACCP line audits daily and verify and validate the information on the forms.
- Approve blends and finished goods.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flanders, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
