About the Opportunity Our client, a growing food manufacturing operation, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to oversee food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and documentation programs within its production facility.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on quality oversight with the administrative side of food safety and compliance. The successful candidate will help ensure products meet quality standards, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily quality control and food safety activities throughout the production process.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure records are audit-ready.
Monitor GMPs, sanitation practices, allergen controls, and food safety procedures.
Conduct inspections of production, storage, cooler, and freezer areas.
Monitor quality metrics, product specifications, labeling accuracy, and traceability programs.
Identify and address quality issues through corrective and preventive actions.
Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation.
Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal audit activities.
Train and coach employees on food safety, GMPs, and quality expectations.
Partner with Operations, Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to resolve quality concerns.
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday | Approximately 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Qualifications
Previous Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in food manufacturing, food processing, meal production, or a related environment.
Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP principles, sanitation, allergen controls, and food safety documentation.
Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance efforts.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
HACCP, PCQI, SQF, or similar certifications are a plus.
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping systems.
