As an R & D Category Assistant at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.

The R&D Assistant will work with technical product development on key projects for the R&D team.

• Formulate and support development of new products and technologies based on relevant consumer insights in support of brand initiatives
• Support the scoping of new technologies and the development of innovative products under the Lysol and Dettol brands globally.
• Work cross-functionally and be R&D lead on project teams to achieve key milestones and objectives
• Conduct lab-based performance and stability studies to support new product launches.
• Understand the Reckitt product development life cycle and deliver projects according to global guidelines.
• Maintain good written and oral communication with R&D, Marketing, and Supply colleagues on project developments.
• Participate in periodic quality audits.
• Read, understand and apply SOP / ISO / GLP protocols with regards to:
  • Data generation for Product Registration for submission to Global Regulatory Agencies
  • Proper operation, standardization & maintenance of lab equipment
  • Maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks
  • Following Safety and Good Housekeeping requirements

• BS/BA degree in a related science and 0-2 years’ relevant experience in Personal Care and/or Surface Care
• Good formulation knowledge and understanding of chemical interactions, any aerosols knowledge is a plus
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and the timely execution of multiple project objectives within established timelines
• Strong interpersonal skills to nurture teamwork and foster an environment of achievement, including cross-functional project teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, and R&D
• Results-oriented and self-motivating, seeking information from others to accomplish objectives
• Ability to display a degree of flexibility and adapt effectively to change
• Proficient with common software applications, including MSOffice
• This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.
